The Drum 'n' Bass DJ and producer Gavin King, who was born in Aberystwyth, Wales, but raised in Eltham, is one of the original rave scene and Jungle pioneers. He runs the label and has founded with Michael Hearn aka .
He took his artist name from the name of a house night he used to co-promote from 1988 1990 whilst at Warwick University. He held a regular Sunday show on pirate station Pulse FM until the station shut down in 1995.
